Psalm 78:22-24 

Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:

When we consider all that God did for them in the wilderness, it is hard to understand how they could fail to believe. Here it mentions the miracle of the manna that came every day, six days a week with double on the sixth day. It describes it in this psalm as bread from heaven. It says in verse 21 of this same chapter that God heard their complaints and knew of their unbelief and was furious. I'm reminded of this scripture Hebrews 11:6 which tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Faith is the most important quality that any of us can have because it can help us when we need to be healed, and it can help us when we pray for others who need to be healed. It is our faith that can move mountains.

Romans 11:20 says we stand by faith also 2 Corinthians. 5:7 says that we walk by faith Gal. 2:20 says we live by faith and 1 John 5:4 tells us that by faith we overcome the world.

From this small list you can see that faith should be very important to all of us and I believe we can do a lot ourselves so that our faith is increased. We know the Bible teaches us:Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I also know that faith can be increased by reading the Bible and testimony books.

Prayer: Thank you our loving Heavenly Father for reminding us of the importance of faith and we ask that the Holy Spirit will convict us of any lacking of faith and reveal to us how we can increase our faith that your will be done and your kingdom come on earth as it was in heaven. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
